I have all these cutouts from magazines, newspapers, etc with all kinds of great exercises. But this book has it all & in color. It has three level of exercises; beginners, intermediate and advanced--plus extras for different problems at each level. I was loaned a copy from my physical therapist to learn some exercises specific to my problems. After one week, I knew I needed to purchase my own copy, so I did and am delighted with it. It has all the exercises I need to do, including use of stability balls of various sizes, weights, therabands, and others. I am able to exercise in my home, on my schedule, when I need, which gives me flexibility. Great book for any woman who needs to start or maintain a good safe exercise program.

This is a great introductory book for you to read if you are curious about weight training in general and how to begin an exercise routine. This book will briefly touch on the different types of weight lifting such as barbels, dumbbells, bands, and machines. To start the process of creating muscle growth, you must apply more stress to your muscles than they are previously used to. Science further proves that muscles grow in the period after exercise. So for about 24-48 hours after a session of weight lifting, if you do not take care of your body with the proper nutrition or rest, you could damage the muscles and reverse the process. At last, I want to say that's the perfect guidebook for women. Thankful!

Awesome book with practical and easy (but effective) instructions.If you have understood what the focus of this book is, then it will help you achieving your goal. The exercises are well described, with photos and text. The nutrition part is a bit basic, and should probably more detailed to be of real value. All in all a good exercise book with a very specific focus.I recommend that everyone should read it, from veteran fitness professionals as myself to the beginner to fitness.

There are no short cuts in this book, but it will transform the way you eat and the way you work out. It will truly transform your body, and get you over any plateau you stock on.

Great book to train my body and give it the best possible form. I like the fact that it is a complex that includes strength training, workouts for increasing muscles, a diet during workouts, stretching techniques, various types of weight lifting and workouts for different levels of training. I can choose for myself the most optimal training regimes. Great program.

The nutrition part is a bit basic, and should probably more detailed to be of real value. All in all a good exercise book with a very specific focus. There are no short cuts in this book, but it will transform the way you eat and the way you work out. It will truly transform your body, and get you over any plateau you stock on

This was a great read on weight training and learning about the basics involved. This book is focused on giving you a brief overview of how the scientific process of muscle growth occurs, so you can understand why patience is very important in the beginning of your training routine
