This is one of the most beautiful of all the machine embroidery books i have read. (And I have more art/fine craft books that wall to wall to ceiling bookshelves have invaded every room in our home. The formal dining room is now a library. Honestly, how many times a year do you use the dining room when the kitchen table/breakfast nook is nearby? My studio is so full of books, there’s hardly have room to store supplies!)Her work is simple, but when finished it’s nearly photo realistic of gorgeous pieces of foliage and underwater wonders. As a fellow SCUBA diver but horrific photographer, I am so grateful she is able to transform those intricate corals and all the other wonders for us to enjoy topside. Her work is truly exquisite.And for those of you that want a technique learning book, she gives step by step instructions in how to do these yourself! Quite frankly, I was willing to keep this book in the “Visual Candy” section alone, so it’s like getting 2 books in one! I cannot wait until she gets old enough that people start doing Artist’s Retrospectives. I can imagine them to be some of the finest.This is an absolutely must buy for anyone who does hand guided machine embroidery or quilting. And many doing electronic machine embroidery would enjoy this is as well as hand embroiders who have been curious what could be done with that old machine of mom’s or grandma stored somewhere. To tell the truth, one of my favorite sewing machines ever was an old, all metal Kenmore with less than 5 stitches and weighed 30 pounds! Not a piece plastic anywhere, even the housing was metal. And there are many that sew avidly as a hobby or professionally that will admit to having an old all metal machine for heavy lifting.My only disappointment was it was not hand embroidered as that’s what I’m focused on this month :) She machine embroiders with such exactness, there are not the telltale loose ‘coloring outside the line’ that is generally associated with machine embroidery that it appears from a few feet away as a very tight satin stitching. It may be a simple process, but it is going to take a lot of work to gain her singular precision. This book is a treasure.

I've always loved Meredith's work. I also do free motion embroidery as one of my techniques... but there's just something about hers that really pulls me in!When I found out she made a book, I jumped on it. I'm so glad I did! It's BEAUTIFUL!I was expecting a "coffee table" book, which it is... but it's so much more! It's also an instructional book.I just love it!

This is a beautiful and informative book! Meredith Woolnough shares her artist creativity in rich detailed photographs and clear, easily understood instructions! As you read through the book, you become aware of how thoroughly she has explored using thread and a sewing machine to create beautiful pieces! Tons of good tips and advice! This has become one of my favorite books on sewing machine embroidery!

I LOVED this book. It's a unique form of embroidery and I felt the advice and info she provided were extremely helpful. Lots of colorful pictures throughout the book.

Great book. She takes you through all the processes used to create these amazong works of art. She also gives you the information needed to try it yourself. The photography is great as well.

Very detailed and informative book. I have been doing this type of machine embroidery for about a year already, and this book showed me some techniques to make it easier. Highly recommend for people who love to work with sewing machines and do free motion quilting

Finally a wonder way to use up my threads of all types.

Very good book. Author has made it very easy & simple to understand. Really good value for a beginner. Only issue is that it does not cover how to adjust the trade if the trade goes against you.Nevertheless it is a basic understanding.

This book and others are only available on Kindle. These books are heavy on charts and diagrams. The problem is that the charts and diagrams are unreadable on the Kindle. I think that I understand the subject matter of the book, but I cannot be sure. The purchase of the Kindle was a waste of money, as were the books.

It was a disappointment. Not really a book but more like a short chapter. Could get more information just reading around the internet.

This is an excellent book on the mechanics of the Bull Put Spread. He has a pleasant, easy to understand writing style about a conservative strategy that can provide consistent monthly income. He also has other books. This is a short book, and an easy read packed with helpful information. I saw a 4 star comment that really liked the book, but wished it had explained an exit strategy. He has a chapter titled "When to exit the Bull Put Spread." He takes the example of Ebay and explains what he would do. An exit strategy is so arbitrary based on individual risk tolerance. My two cents would be to read the book (it's free to Kindle unlimited members,) set up an account and paper trade for awhile. Once a person feels comfortable that it works more often than not, then start trading and stick to a plan. Plan that there will be losses. But consistency will bring steady, predictable profits. I loved his book. Emotions are the hardest thing to master trading in the stock market. The Bull Put Spread strategy is limited risk that fits my risk averse personality and emotional make up. I recommend it.

I like the detailed coverage of a single plan to trade options with a good chance of success. Many books on this subject overwhelm you with TMI on too many different strategies to use.

A good explanation of the bull put spread. Simple tactics that produce small consistent profits are explained. Worth the read.
