This book works, however I recommend purchasing the LEED Green Associate Study Guide written by either Adam Ding or A. Togay Koralturk. Their books are far superior to this one. This book covers quite a bit of what is tested on the exam, however it is poorly put together and the grammar is terrible! This book will do the job though if you have no other options.The LEED Green Associate Exam is very simple. It just tests the basic concepts behind Green construction. In saying this, most any study guide on LEED will do the trick. If you really want to learn, then I suggest the two books listed above.

This book was not what I expected. Seeing the numerous 5 star reviews, I expected more. The reality is that this book does not (in my opinion) present the LEED Green Associate exam information in a clear manner, and may not contain all information needed to pass the test.Worried I would not pass the test studying this material alone, I bought practice tests and a study guide (for $10 more than this book for the tests and study guide together) from Green Building Education Services. In my opinion, there is no comparison between the two. I am returning this product by Gang Chen for a refund. With improvement, I think it could be a very useful guide…but it needs work. I found errors that could have been fixed by a novice editor. For example, the title has "LEED GA" on it, but USGBC explicitly says never to use the term "LEED GA", but instead use "LEED Green Associate" or "LEED Green Assoc."…and that's on the cover of the book!For what it's worth, I passed the Green Associate exam three hours ago with a 196/200.

Total rip-off! I paid $48 for this so-called exam guide and all I got was a bunch of words that didn't make any sense! If it wasn't for another exam preparation material I found 3 days before the test, not only I would have failed on the exam, but also I would be too confused about the basics of green building! LEED and green building knowledge is more of a common sense... for the exam purposes you need to know a couple of rules and standards not a bunch of unrelated stuff and details on how many points you'll earn!!!

Ordered this book due to the high reviews. This book is only ok, but I dont think its really worth purchasing for the cost. I just passed my test an hour ago (got a score of 193) and I can say this this book really was not all that helpful with regards to whats on the test. All it does is provide a simple and general review of what each credit is, nothing more and nothing less. It does make it easier to understand the purpose of the credit, but thats it. Overall the book is too simple and too general. In all honesty, you could easily find the same information for free online elsewhere (i found some free videos which did a much better job at explaining things). There are many things on the test that this book does not really cover in depth enough.

I have purchased this book twice.... something is wrong with the printer/distributor. The book content is an entirety different book inside than what the cover says, it's some sort of coding book???

Its a very good guide to my concern

I passed! Use this book. All i did was read this book and only this book about 4 times over 10 days, took some notes in the book, and concentrated on memorizing the info. As for myself, I have been exposed in the past to some green building principals so i had some foundation, but even if i hadn't i'm confident this book will definitely prepare you enough to pass. It's easy to read, plenty of space for notes, highlights important info, content well organized.

I purchased this book so I could read it with my 8 year old son. He is absolutely obsessed with Minecraft. I have watched him play the game and even attempted to try it myself at his request. I love video and PC games, but I will confess, Minecraft is not one of my favorites. Throughout the course of several years of my son playing it I have learned about the many characters and all the different materials. That being said, I really enjoyed this book. The experience of sharing something my son absolutely loves with him was fantastic. I read with my children (8 and 3) almost every night. This book kept my son's attention the entire time we read it. My 3 year old daughter was happy to listen to the story and my son's commentary with the help of her stuffed MLP toy.This book focuses on Steve. He is the first character I remember hearing about back when my son first began playing the game. I think Steve is a great character. In this book he takes you on an amazing journey. The first person perspective makes it easy to get pulled into the story as if you were there, or at least playing too.My son was so excited that he was talking about the book/story to his friend the next day at the bus stop. I even found myself telling my brother about it so my nephew (also an obsessed with Minecraft 8 year old) could enjoy it.As soon as we finished this book my son asked if there were more. I am planning on purchasing the next 2 books (both at the same time to save a little cash) as soon as we are finished with our library books. I have to say that I am more of a fan of Minecraft now than I was prior to reading this book. I feel like I might give the Minecraft Story Mode game another shot now.I was able to enjoy this awesome book at a discount. My genuine opinion of this book is that it is a fantastic story that deserves a 5 star rating.

I have read several Minecraft e-books to my young children because, like so many others, they are obsessed with the game. I like to have e-books on my tablet for when I want to distract or entertain them for a while when we're not at home, and reading books about Minecraft is a sure way to keep them occupied. Some of the books I've read had been mildly entertaining, but their real value has been in the delight in my children's expressions and their use of imagination. Others I've read have been really terrible and almost painful to wade through.This book, however, was a delight. My kids were riveted, and I was also very intrigued, despite my lack of interest in the game. I've made myself knowledgeable about the game for their sakes, but this book doesn't require it, giving a good enough description of the different characters that even a newcomer could understand the story. But it's the writing that really caused me to post this review!This is NOT a book that you have to force yourself to finish. In fact, I was just as disappointed as they were when we had to stop reading before we finishing it to attend to real life situations. The writing is engaging, with descriptive language that neither overwhelms nor bores. So many self-published books (as I assume this is) suffer from a lack of editing, and this book doesn't appear to have that problem. Often, too, stilted dialogue can trip up an author, and this book has cleverly managed to avoid that problem. The plot moves along at a good pace, not getting bogged down in details or zipping past key events. It's engaging and suspenseful without being frightening to young kids, and they are so excited trying to figure out what's going to happen or why things are happening. We finished the book today after starting it yesterday, and they were discussing it repeatedly in the interim, very eager to hear its resolution. (They were equally disappointed and delighted to find out it was part 1 of 3.)I can say in all honesty that I have enjoyed this book and am already reading Book Two to them even though we're at home with our print library today. This is a book that will be enjoyed by both Minecraft fans as well as the friends and family reading it alongside or to them.

Pros:- Good book that had a little eerie atmosphere to it- Nice length and not to long of a read- Really opens the world of Minecraft and what is going on in some of the minds of players- Love the protagonists dog!Cons:- Kind of confusing on what is happening if you've never played minecraft before- Might be a little too eerie for kids depending on their ageI liked this book but I can see how it might be a little confusing to those that don't play minecraft like me. I couldn't understand some of the subtle hints to the game because I've never actually played it. I did find myself wondering what would happen later in the book and found it quite interesting disregarding the fact that I have never played minecraft. I really liked the first person perspective of the book since I do like playing first person games specifically. Another part of the book that I liked was the dog companion, I love dogs!! The book had a little eerie atmosphere to it and might be a little scary for kids to read it during the night.I was asked to review this product by a third-party. This is a free e-book and I promise that this is my honest and non-biased review.

Got this to read for my Minecraft-loving 8 year old son because it was free and well-rated.Bottom line is that he really liked it and I ended up buying the last two parts for about 4 bucks: The Quest: The Untold Story of Steve - Book Two and Book Three (The Unofficial Minecraft Adventure Short Stories)TIP: Buy parts 2 and 3 together instead of separately to save some money.There were some minor grammar/typos but no big deal.5 stars overall.
