I LOVED this book. I read it a little late in the game (3 months before my wedding) but it was so helpful. As an event coordinator, I really like to know all of the options to choose from before I make a decision. Not only does this book present all options, it’s not overwhelming like wedding magazines and websites can be. It made me feel reassured in the decisions I had already made. I would have never thought of something like a “no cell phone†ceremony but will now enforce it. I also loved all the extra comments about women empowerment.
This is a great book - full of useful tips and information and also infused with humor and support for making your wedding a wonderful occasion that reflects your own values while honoring traditions that you care about. It’s the only wedding planning book ( of the several I’ve purchased) that has made me laugh out loud while also dog earring pages I want to come back to because they’re so useful.
This wedding planning advice book has it all - action (the caterers show up late!), adventure (you contemplating not serving alcohol at your reception!), and most of all LOVE. It's clear that Ms Pendolino loves LOVE and this book is her love letter to help ladies and gentlemen brave the journey of wedding planning, all while staying true to themselves. Buy it. You won't be sorry.
This is a quick read full of extremely helpful planning advice for a bride, groom, or any family member/friend helping to plan a wedding. The tone is fun and lighthearted (found myself laughing out loud at times). It's full of helpful pointers and ways of making difficult decisions. Would highly recommend to anyone helping with wedding planning!
